"Parke di Fraternan" was originally established by the Brothers of Tilburg as a botanical park for education about native plants, trees, and medicinal plants. To this day, STINAPA uses this beautiful and central park for education activities to teach kids about our islands unique nature.
The Junior Rangers have been involved in maintaining this park for some years, but some parts could use love and attention.
Our plan is to try and revive and refresh the greenhouse for teaching about growing food and medicines, planting new native trees throughout, installing a drip system for these new trees, and painting termite-proof signs to label the trees in Papiamentu for further learning. This park is vital for educating our future generations.
